Work Scope: Design, Install and Finish FM2 Flooring using Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) & Site mixed concrete (SMC) using Self loading concrete mixtures.
Warehouse Floor
We were instructed by client to design and install a ground-bearing concrete floor slab for their newest & biggest warehouse unit at their growing logistics park in Raipur. Two different designs were required to comply with the specification of the different areas of the warehouse unit. The largest area was the main floor of the warehouse, with our design needing to accommodate a UDL of almost 8MT/sqm. The concrete floor would also be subject to a power float finish to Concrete Society TR34 FM2 flatness.
Construction Process:
The warehouse floor needed to be completed within a tight program, and our team successfully carried out the preparation, pouring and finishing in just 16 days. This fantastic achievement demonstrates the importance of thorough planning and commitment throughout the team in order to accomplish these results. With each concrete pour averaging 120m2, it was an ideal opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our fantastic Truss Screed Flooring System. This is then complimented by working through the night powerfloating the floor, before getting ready to go again for the next pour.
